The newest taste on the tips of everyone’s tongues, the sinfully delicious words dripping off your lips, like the sweetness that lingers after a long slow kiss, smooth, warm and full of flavor this is no light dessert. Blended together from the furthest outreaches of the GTA galaxy and beyond comes the freshest new spoken word foursome Chocolate Fountain. A tantalizing treat for your every sense, for every listener from every race & nation… Chocolate Fountain is a lyrical sensation! A collaborative effort featuring the talents of Truth Is… (multiple grand slam champion), Bethanne Fischer (Guelph slam organizer), Kiki (creative director of the Powertry Collective) and Jillian Christmas (founder of Toronto’s Peace Pipe Poetry Sessions). Designed to uplift, unite, celebrate and enlighten, this cup runneth over, this fountain is flowing, rich & abundant enough to have you licking your lips for days and wondering why it took you SO long to treat yourself to dessert!

Wondering where your $5 goes? The cover charges go towards a prize for the winner ($60), remuneration and travel expenses for our guest features, and if extra funds allow, prizes for the other finalists. The cash also covers incidental costs like photocopies, posters, etc.

    • Hi Wendy,
There are two open mics scheduled during saturday, during which he’s more than welcome to read!

  2. Hi There,

I wasn’t sure who to contact, But I’m a broadcast journalism student at Fanshawe and would love to help promote the festival coming up in London. ( I love poetry myself) I was wondering if there was any participants or organizers that would be willing to do an interview with me Monday or Tuesday next week…the story would air in the halls of fanshawe and on 106.9 FM

    Thanks!

    Melanie
